Texas’ Most Exciting Entertainment Destination To Open In Irving's Toyota Music Factory

Big Beat Dallas Brings Daily Live Entertainment and 24-Hour Dining

The most exciting entertainment destination in Texas is opening in Las Colinas’ Toyota Music Factory in spring 2018.  Big Beat Dallas is the creation of entertainment visionary Billy Bob Barnett and represents a milestone in planning and development of a destination which offers community engagement 24-hours a day.

The approx. 90,000 square foot project, a decade in the works, showcases two outdoor stages on the Texas Lottery Plaza with 365 days of live entertainment annually, six dining and drinking establishments and a daily Ranchers’ Market.

In its home adjacent to the Toyota Music Factory, Big Beat Dallas promises to be an important draw of regional and national visitors with its phenomenal entertainment schedule and unique array of delicious dining and luxe libations.

Led by the culinary talents of Executive Chef Roberto Madrid, the dining destinations include:

Texas Jam House, which celebrates family recipes with a Southern flair.  The kitchen is open 24 hours a day and the relaxing porch features comfortable seating and an array of refreshing beverages.

Bar Manzanilla, a coastal taqueria and tequila bar.  Every night, Bar Manzanilla hosts top DJs as they spin the hottest tunes.

Highway 61 South celebrates blues with live nightly entertainment and Texas barbecue.

Texas C-Bar celebrates with a wine collection as big as Texas itself.  The sommelier-managed list includes over 300 vineyards, plus a comprehensive, global Scotch menu.  Food is chef-driven and sustainably sourced, and complemented with impeccable service.  The C-Bar includes private wine rooms and a cigar lounge.

Martini Ranch gives Dallas a Vegas-inspired destination for craft and nouveau cocktails as well as bottle service.  The area’s top DJ’s will be featured in special engagements.

Marketplace Bars in the Texas Lottery Plaza, two Texas-sized outdoor bars with an extensive video program that televises your favorite sports programs and live video feed from their many stages.  Specialty cocktails, frozen margaritas and regional craft beers complete the outdoor bars.

Happy hour is served daily at Big Beat Dallas, where a unique license allows guests to carry their libations from one locale to another within the massive 90,000 s.f. complex.

“Big Beat Dallas represents an advancement of Ben Carpenter’s vision for Las Colinas,” explains Barnett.  “When Ben created the 12,000 acre Las Colinas development, he was recognized for creating the most innovative large-scale urban development in the country.  We want Big Beat to continue that spirit of innovation and partnership.”

The designers of the Toyota Music Factory pursued Barnett and Big Beat Dallas because of the unique way they were able to maximize the use of the development’s prime space.

“One of our goals at Toyota Music Factory is to cater to people of all walks of life, day and night,” said Noah Lazes, president of ARK Group and the project’s developer. “We believe Big Beat Dallas helps tremendously in reaching this goal of an all-encompassing 24-hour entertainment district. Each concept at Big Beat Dallas was custom designed for the Toyota Music Factory to cater to the many residents and visitors of Irving.”

When Barnett first looked at the City of Irving, he did so with a real understanding of the giants who built the area.  “Ben Carpenter’s mother, Flossie, first gave the area its name, calling the family ranch ‘El Ranchito de las Colinas, the little ranch of the hills,” explained Barnett.  “At Big Beat Dallas, we celebrate the strong heritage of Texas itself, with our Ranchers’ Market, Texas Jam House and a respect for those people and ideals that made the Lone Star State what it is.”
