Fort Worth Museum of Science & History

The Fort Worth Museum of Science & History is a great place to take your kids, but we’re pretty sure you’ll love it too. With rotating exhibits, an Omni Imax theater, planetarium, and special events, this museum has something for every interest. Learn about current exhibits, events, & more on the museum’s site.



The Modern

Fort Worth’s The Modern offers nearly 3,000 pieces on display with a focus on post-World War II art. All major international art movements are represented in the museum’s exhibits. Located just a few minutes from downtown Fort Worth, this collection will delight the casual art observer as much as the enthusiast.


Kimbell Art Museum

The Kimbell Art Museum is a Fort Worth hallmark. Known for its expansive collection of paintings, sculptures, rotating exhibits, and more, the Kimbell is a great way to experience a diverse array of pieces. Admission to the permanent exhibits are always free - we think you’ll enjoy this impressive museum!



Amon Carter Museum of American Art

The Amon Carter Museum connects visitors to the masterworks of American art. Permanent and rotating exhibitions offer historic collections of early American art forms, as well as more contemporary pieces. Admission is free. Find current exhibitions and collections on the museum website.


Fort Worth Aviation Museum

For the airplane aficionado on the west side of the Metroplex, the Fort Worth Aviation Museum offers a “petting zoo” of 26 warbirds spanning 1943 to present. It doesn’t get much more hands-on than this - come check out this incredible collection of aircraft.
